Great job, Steve. I fear that this inquiry will receive the same response as did the Twitter Files, the Columbia journalism review and most recently, the Cochrane Review's latest meta analysis of masking studies. In other words, I am losing hope for our country.

According to the Human Mortality Database, there are 366,000 excess deaths in the US compared to 2019. In 2021, 605,000. That is nearly one million EXCESS deaths post covid.

Even that understates the magnitude of this disaster. If ALL of the 529,000 excess deaths in 2020 were due to covid, then there should be a corresponding deficit by now, since almost all of the fatalities were in the very old and very ill.

That is just the cost in human lives. The economic and social costs of the response to covid will almost certainly be far greater.

There needs to be accountability, and the Norfolk Group is an important step toward this.

The people doing this get no benefit for their work, only the knowledge they are doing something good, and I can’t thank them enough.
